Accessories for the horse
Our hand crafted halters, breast collars, mecate slobber straps, and nose bands are designed with care and attention to detail and fit. The leather we use is from Wickett & Craig of America. For our custom and stock saddles we use their Saddle Skirting and for fancy headstalls, bags or cases, we use Wickett & Craig English Bridle leather. These are a few of our available stamping designs. If you have something in mind or have seen a design that you like, please call or email us with a picture and we will do our best to incorporate the design in what you want.
Halters
Our halters are made with either Wickett & Craig or Hermann Oak English Bridle leather and are firm and supple but not soft. They are a dressy looking halter suitable for showing or just for around the paddock.
Dress them up!
A plain halter can be dressed up by adding silver bars or conchos, nickel, antique nickel, antique copper or shiny chrome spots. Customization is made before the halters are put together.

Breast Collars
These handcrafted breast collars are designed to fit larger horses. We know they won’t fit all horses but maybe a custom breast collar is what you need. Provide us with the details or with a picture by email and we will do our best to make the right size and incorporate the design what you want. We make breast collars for minis and ponies as well. Mecate Slobber Straps
The slobber straps pictured here are for various widths of mecate reins made out of horsehair, cotton rope or braided nylon cord. We have standard 5/8″ and 1/2″ holes for the rein, but will custom make your slobber strap for a smaller 3/8″ size of rein. We offer quick change slobber straps to make the change easier if you are changing bits often. Contact us by email and we will make the right size and use your design. Roper Nosebands
Plain, Stamped or Padded?
There are many plain nose bands on the market, but there are also lots of girls and women taking up roping who want to match other tack or just like a fancier look for their horse. More men are coming around to the idea of dressing up their horses too! Padding is an option for all nosebands, but is included here.
