Description
A cowboy’s chinks are similar to chaps. Both are leather leg coverings horseback riders wear. Typically worn by both cowboys and cowgirls, they are protection against weather, timber, brush, kicks, rope burns, and other hazards.
One part of children’s horse riding clothing should be chinks. The childs’ chinks are softer and lightweight and may be one color or two with highlight colors, fringe, and antique nickel conchos. The back belt is adjustable and the legs have an adjustable tie or snap up thighs. They have a 3″ fringe. These child’s chinks will protect your child’s legs against abrasion and dirt just like the adult chinks.
