Child’s Western Chink/Chap

At James Built Saddlery, we make a child’s western chink or chap  to look just like mom’s, dad’s or grandpa’s.  While these western chaps are soft and lightweight, they are tough enough to protect the child’s legs and withstand being handed down to the next little cowboy or cowgirl.  Colors vary in browns with brown highlights or brighter colors with different color contrasts. We offer most with fringe but will make without fringe and all have some sort of conchos for decoration. White or colored thread is used in the stitching to highlight. All the chinks have adjustable back belts with a series of holes to shorten or lengthen. All the chinks have either adjustable leg straps that buckle up or have adjustable leather thongs with snaps to attach to dees on the underside of the chink.
